Interesting Red 1968 GT500 Shelby Convertible up for sale on E-Bay. Looks like an awesome car. (Auction ends tonight.)

Is $200,000 the high mark for 1968 Shelby Big Blocks Convertibles now or will the market push all Shelby prices even higher in 2006? Wouldn’t this convertible be the one to judge all other shelby convertibles by? The top bidders for this car have very low feedback numbers. I'm assuming these are legit bidders, so is this going to be the top of the market or is this the starting point for the market to rise even higher from? It seems like the Boss 302 prices doubled in 2005. It should at least be an interesting January.

    Happy New Year!!!

  3. Just a few questions.....where are the original tires? I don't recall the
aluminum P.I. intake being painted. Also, weren't the black out hood
treatment a KR only deal? Not knocking the car, but just a few questions
about an 'ORIGINAL' car. Any help B.G?
    Thank You,

The car was sold by Cobra Automotive ( Curt Vogt) less than 2 years ago, I
think for around $100k. I am sure Cobra did some detailing on the car. Looks
nice, but I agree, not the best "original" car I have seen. Big money for a
    2 pedal non-KR!
