Mike I also had questions -tires evidence of underhood spray paint detail ,replaced master cylinder just to mention a few. Mlke, the PI aluminum intake was painted blue with the rest of the engine. It did seem like a nice car but if the things I saw that were non original were representative of other non original items I couldn't see in the photos,I have my doubts of the car being that untouched. Thanks for your response Bob. As for the P.I. intake, I guess I still learn something new everyday! : ) Every 68 GT500 intake I think I have ever seen has been natural. I had always had a question about that since the cars were basically built by Ford starting in 68 and they are all about ease and speed when building. Makes perfect sense they would paint as one unit, similar to Boss9 heads and intake I guess.
