Anyone have any info on the repro Autolite battery? Has someone picked up the ball from New Castle? Ron
try Antique Auto Battery...i have their reproduction 57 TBird battery Group 29 Power Punch battery on my Bird, original looking case, maintenance free . it appears to have an Optima battery INSIDE the original styled case. they make others that are not maintenance free as well. I dont recall if they have Mustang battery styles or not,but check out their website : http://www.antiqueautobattery.com/ Worth a try, but pricey. Recently purchased a group 24 from Antique Automobile Battery and the car starts. Not cheap.
