I have seen this done in several ways the best way was the 65-6 that was known as "pony tail" behind a K-GT then war renaimed "shelby tail" when the guy upgraded to a 66 shelby. this was the back of a coupe grafted to the front clip and split at the top of the wheel opening. it was great and made me want one. the next was someone cut the rear clip from a coupe and just blanked across the front of the qtrs and upper part with flat metal. this looked great from the back and good from the side but lacked style from the front of it. this would be easy to do. the last style I have seen was where the guy cut the rear clip off and blanked across where the package tray was but left the rear seat in place. this was for 'parade use only'. while it looked ok, it was kind of wierd to see it. this would obviously be the easiest. I had thought if taking 2 rear clips and joining them at back to back at the top of the wheel opening. this would not be too hard and would have the ease of 2 good access points I keep thinking about doing it but it is right behind converting the top from a coup to a removable hard top for my convertable which is right behind getting (and keeping) all of my cars RUNNING at the same time (something I have yet to achieve) bob bob
