Console Tips

I have a couple of consoles I'm about to redo.
I have em stripped down tubbed (BATH) and cleaned.Metal parts
reconditioned,blasted painted and so on.I need some info on Re Coloring the
housings. I know the dash and most of the interior parts are Charcoal
Metallic as per Bob Perkins in some of The MM mags.What about the
console??Same there too?
I have 3 to work on a 69 a 70 and the one for my 69 Shelby .....I have 2
practice pieces so to speak.I do Mine last after I decide what looks
correct.

Don't believe they were painted just bare plastic. Also remember that not all of your dash was Dark Charcoal Metallic - the four small ears (for lack of a better term) should have been semi-gloss black from the supplier
