Has anyone had or seen many "grabber green" Shelby/Mustangs ? I believe that there has been a recent 1970 GT500 on eBay in grabber green. The internet photographs that I've seen make this color appear almost a rich turquoise. How would you describe this color ? I've noticed that candy apple reds appear almost orange as well. Of course, this could be because of my PC monitors color adjustment or my failing eyesite or both. Just curious,thanks, Bill
Bill: You might want to check the colors against those shown by NVSAAC. Go to www.nvsaac.com and check them. The Candyapple reds run all over the map from what I have seen. Not seen too many grabber greens. Bill, I would term it more of a rich Immigration-Natralization Service green... but maybe that's only a color those of us from the Southwest U.S. would quickly recognize... or maybe a richer version of a rich plasticeine/almost pastel green used in the 50s... hmmm... (looking around) Ahh Haa! it's the green used by Boise Paper Products on their boxes in the Aspen line of printer paper... Okay, you may not have a box handy... ummm.. it's a really rich mint green... yeah, I think that's it... a green with just a touch of white thrown in it on the pallette... Does that help?
