Sorry guys. The link brought up all pics. There is a pic down the bottom of the front stone tray with the bracket.

They are on ebay quite frequently. When cars left AO Smith they were all shipped with front bracket in glove box. I'm supposed to run a front plate but I can't bear to drill the hole in mine. I just leave it on the dash. I noticed that car the other day. Nice car but a lot of incorrect details for a car "supposed" to have been restored by former SAAC judge.

Thanks Tim. Can you guys run without a front licence plate over there? I'd prefer not to drill too but the cops over here would class the car as unroadworthy without one.

We are supposed to run one. The local cops don't really seem to care about it. I think they realize that if they had to identify an Acapulco blue 68 GT 500 in RI (the smallest state in US) it wouldn't be hard especially with the tag reading SHLBY:D

I bought a decent reproduction sometime ago from Branda Mustang. I still have it somewhere as I too chickened out on drilling my front nose piece!! I'm not sure if Branda still has them or not. I searched for years for an original one to no avail, so I bought the repro. Check with Branda & if they no longer sell them I could search for mine & sell (cheaply) as I no longer own my 68. Let me know if your interested. But ask yourself...Do you really want to drill into your original fiberglass?????? Let me know. David

Thanks for the offer David. I've ordered 1 this morning. I'd say I'll have it on hand but not fit it unless I'm forced too...
