I just purchased CSX4241 a week ago today. I sold My 68 GT500#1428 to accomplish this. since then it has rained every day and I am waiting on my Classic license plates. This is okay as it gives me time to get underneatha and learn more about this Car. This is as close as I can get to a REAL COBRA as it is issued by Carroll Shelby. Sadly, production on these cars has been plagued with stop and go issues and has left an incredible backlog of anxious owners to be. I opted for a completed car and am Happy with the results. Fit and finish is very nice. Frame has excellent welds. anybody who knows COBRAS cannot knock these cars. although they are Reproductions of the Original Cars, They are the Top of the Line. will post some pics shortly.

Jdog, I almost did the same as you. I was ready to leave a deposit on the 39,900 special myself. I am not gloating or saying you did the wrong thing by ordering your car, but I just did not like the idea that nobody had a car for me to look at, or could guarantee me a car on a promised date. everything happens for a reason. I just hope what happened to you and the others still waiting turns out to be a REALLY GOOD REASON!! You are a good man for not getting on the negative side of the issue as others have. and they have their right to feel that way. I just do not see how Negativity ever brought something Positive to a conclusion. especially in this situation. Have you been down to HST? I will say this to you and the others waiting. If your car will be anything like mine is, It is well worth the grief you have suffered. Fiberglass or Aluminum, a CSX4000 Series Cobra will always be something the others cannot be. Genuine. If you cannot wait, Go order a Kirkham. They are awesome, just a different VIN #. That is how I see it. Hopefully you will be Rolling in your car by late Spring.

Man I just love CSX4266 one very nice Cobra. Well mine as some on this forum know was just completed. Well are they ever completed? Still doing a little fine tuning, certainly want to have it looking good for Shelby does Vegas. B) In this picture I just got it off the jack stands it had been sitting on for the past three months while it came together. Still need to adjust the suspension so that it hugs the tires more. Also have switched out the street Good Years for Bill Board GOOD YEARS that I got from Dick Smith last week.

Morgan, you sure have a way with words. I can't wait to see that car of yours in Vegas. If all goes well, mine will be in the Shelby display at Barrett-Jackson. Are you coming out to AZ for that?

    take care,
