Try Craig Conley at Paradise Wheels. He is the owner and will treat you right. I bought a set of MagStar Rims from him and they are perfect! Good luck - David

David, I have contacted Craig about some Mag Stars. You seem to be impressed with them....are they exact reproductions?
My car originally came with them, but 10 spokes were already on them when I bought it. I'd hope to offset my cost by selling the 10 spokes. You think $600 would be a fair price? They're very nice. Been on the car for 25+ yrs that I know of, but the valve stem is inside the spoke, not on the rim.
    Thanks,
    Max

    Max,
Your price of $600 sounds very reasonable for a nice set of used 10-spokes. My 68 Shelby had them as well with the exact valve stem location. I like them on a 68 but for some reason I prefer the MagStars on the 67's...Go figure!!! As far as the MagStars being "Exact" I would have to add a qualifier. They are very close & look fantastic on my car but in my opinion, there are really no exact reproduction pieces out there when comparing to originals. The paint, chrome finish, rivets & so on... will all vary however slight. If you are building a very nice occasional driver, like mine, go with the Paradise Wheels reproductions and you will be completely satisfied and never look back. If you are going to be building a Concourse car then hold out for some perfect NOS originals if money is no object. You can buy the reproduction MagStars at a few other select Mustang houses but after doing my homework; Paradise Wheels had the best package deal & they stand by their products. If I knew how to post some photos I would do so (computer illiterate!!!) so you could see why I like them so much. In any event, good luck with your car & I'm sure if you posted your 10-Spokes for sale here in the Classified section you would make someone a very nice deal! Take care - David

David, you got a digital camera? I'll talk you through it or you can just email me a pic. Lemme ask you this.....would I be closer to original and be more satisfied if I sent Craig a set of Mag Stars and he refinished them? I'm not sure, but I've heard somewhere the major difference in his repros and originals is how the mag centers are joined to the steel rim.

The 68 10 spokes that have been mentioned were not original equipment , but very early replacements/reproductions and are better than what is now being offered.Other than the stem location they are the same as the originals and can be modified to be. The stem location was changed because of a DOT requirement.

    Just a interesting note, Tout

They have original cabs for wheels too, can't find these listed, only as V48 repro? Missing one, may put on market too.
