Anybody know more about these rims, can only find repro's listed as V48. Need a cap for one, may put on market after.
Is that a 4x100mm bolt pattern? I would guess they are for early Dodge front wheel drive cars. The Carroll Shelby Wheels company made wheels for many different vehicles. Besides Dodge, I have seen them used on Chevrolet, Volvo, and even Ford cars. robin
I have seen similar caps on eBay from time to time. They have always had a black finish instead of the silver. You may want to check with shelbymotorsports (aka Steve Thornton). He specializes in Shelby Dodge parts but he might be able to get a lead on what you are after. robin
I have seen these rims on a Sunbeam Alpine. Don't know is lug pattern is the same a Datsun but both were 4 lug.
Carroll's son Patrick used to run the wheel company. Carroll started it, and the wheels were pretty popular around the sports car set back in the 70's and 80's. I have a set for an early Mustang up in the attic somewhere. But mine were different and had different center caps.
