Welcome jethot! I am from Minnesota. I don't know any enthusiasts in FLA, but there are many of them spanning the states between us. robin
Hi Robin Thanks for the friendly welcome. When I bought the car and trailered it home from up north all the way until central FL people would beep or give thumbs up then nothing. The few Shelby’s that I have seen down here are rarely taken out I know alot of people buy them for investment and lock them away and its there choice to do so but I plan on driving mine! Even though I have a lot of money in it but that’s not stopping me from enjoying it for what it is. I just wish people down here with these cars would be more involved and get out and show them. Thanks Vince
Hi Dave I work in Stuart , do you know of other Shelby owners in are area I have a friend who has a 70 350 also but thats it , I was thinking if we could get a group together Shelbys or other fords to make a stonger presence at some of the local shows , I have rarely seen any fords from late sixties early seventies , I get tried of looking at the same chevys over and over , Have you ever been to the Abacoa show ? and would you be interested in trying to get something going at the local shows or Abacoa Thanks Vince
Hello South FL! Im from West Palm Beach and a newbie as well. Long time Shelby lover and hope to get my hands on a 2007 when they come out.
Speaking of Florida, a long time ago in the late 70's I was heading down Interstate 75 in Georgia late at night. Listening to the CB radio so popular at the time when a dark green 67 GT 350 passed by. I hailed the driver who had a CB antenna on, and chatted Shelby way on down the road. He was moving to some town near Cape Kennedy. Wondering if he still has that car.
