HELLO SHELBY owners!...i have ALWAYS loved the Shelby Mustangs. My 1st real awakening was in 69, when i was cruising in my 65 Mustang coupe and saw a kid i went to school with cruising in his 68 Shelby convertible, a blue one. What got me was that he had 4 girls in his car!...

Anyway, i seem to always gravitate to these cars and seem to find guys today that used to own one. I presently work with a guy who used to own a 428 68 Shelby. This same guy used to live by the airport that built these cars, and is a wealth of knowledge on the Shelby Mustang. He sold his years ago much to his regret, but he still likes to tell stories, and give me valuable info on the cars. If anyone here has a question, i can relay this question to him and maybe get answers.

He doesn't own a computer for reasons that i wont get into, but suffice it to say, he is very knowledgable.

From my screen name you can tell i own a BOSS 302, but i hope that doesn't make me a bad person....!!..lol!!..

Maybe someday i will own a Shelby. My favorite is the obvious ....66...

    anyway, good to be here!..

    Jim

Welcome aboard Jim! when I was searching for my First Shelby, I was getting very frustrated and researched the Boss 302 Cars and almost went with one. I still would like to have one. I do have a 1 owner (I am the 2nd) 69 Mach1 all original car 351 4v 4 speed to scratch my Mustang itch! Help spread the word of this site. It has the makings of a Great Forum. all welcome!

Boy would i give anything to go!..

not making excuses...BUT...i live north of Seattle about 35 minutes. Thats one long haul.

I have the truck to do it with, an F-250 4x4 with the 460, but don't have the trailer, and even if i did, i can't be certain i'll have my car ready, SOOOO, with those road blocks in my way, i didn't put in for any vacation time in June.

Maybe the event will be held on the West Coast next year for us owners here.

Quite a few BOSS cars out here not going because of distance.

I'm looking forward to reading stories and seeing pics and video of this years event.

    Jim
