well this past weekend my brother and I went to vegas and I lost a portion of my ass, however on the way back I stopped in to see a guy with some 'stuff'. bought a 66 Shelby steering wheel from him for $750 (asking price). he kept telling me how rare the wheel was but I kept asking him to take less, so he threw the horn button in but said $750 was it. the wheel is near perfect, the wood is beautiful. on the back the horn contact pieces are missing, anyone have some good ones to take a picture of or sell or does someone have a wheel off the car that I can get you to take pictures of the stuff? or is there someone in socal that I can see your wheel?. the horn button has the wrong back plate and the chrome is pitted/flaking and is likely from a fiat as that is what the horn button says but otherwise it is correct. the guy also had a vintage nardi horn button that was the same. the plastic was wrong and the back plate was different but the metal trim ring and retaining ring was right I have some work to do but now there is a start. I have been thinking of doing a repo of this wheel so I now have something to copy bob
