In my old Shelby literature, the parts catalogs have pictures of the Weber induction setup, but not of the linkage kits. I was fortunate enough to take some good pictures of an original Weber set used on a Hawaiian Shelby drag car a number of years ago, but have no idea whether the linkage was shop-made or a Shelby American linkage. BTW this whole setup is being offered for sale by a vendor who has NO clue about Shelby stuff--they specialize in Italian cars and more or less came across this thing by accident. I don't have the contact information with me at the moment, but it's at home and I can forward it if there's any interest. The asking price is 4000 Euros, but I think they are probably quite flexible.... Mike
Mike, I looked at both your pics before this, and your second pic was informative. It looks like a BOSS 302 (B2) intake, set up for a rear cable pull. Really interesting linkage and fuel pieces compared to mid-60s hardware. When I got my '69 B2, one of the photos I received that was supposed to be it plowed into hale bales during a race in Mexico showed it with similar Webers. The pic was so small there's no way I could say how similar. I believe that pic was actually the ex-Folmer-Jones car because I neve found evidence my car sported the color scheme and it was the red-white-black of theirs. I took the liberty of forwarding your two messages to someone I know was looking for one of these. Neat-Stuff! If you have any other pics I would very much like to see them. The vendor didn't know anything about them, but said they were for a 289, not a Boss 302. He said he had some nibbles from a fellow who was vintage racing an original GT40; this would be the appropriate setup for a GT40, 289 Cobra etc. That is, unless it is in fact a Boss 302 intake, in which case, not so much!
