Last year in May at the AER show in Addison, a suburb of Dallas,TX
    I saw what I believed was a Shelby-Look-A-Like parked beside a
Camaro Z28. It turned out to be 5R102. Talked to the owner for at least
1/2 hour, a nice guy with a nice car. Found a couple of things that I believe
weren't original but didn't spit it out. In 1987 I wanted to buy the 1967
national champ 5R108 for $40k but wife said NO,NO,NO. Wish I had
done it anyway. May still have had the car or half of it as wife may have
taken the other half after the divorse. Now I still have the wife but no R-model.
By the way, the guy owned the Camaro as well as a Hemi Mopar, forgot what type.

My wife put me through a lot of grief when I bought the Cobra. What she didn't understand at the time was it was a once in a lifetime opportunity that I wasn't about to pass up.
