I was driving home on the hwy. this afternoon when a rock from a dump truck hit both my hood scoop and windshield. It did not do anything to the windshield. It did put a real nice scratch in the silver paint of the hood scoop. Does anyone know the paint code for the silver paint used on the 07' and 08' Shelby GT.

At least it happened while you were driving and not while sitting in the garage...

I do drive the car alot. The only problem with that is I have had the worst luck with this thing. I bought it last June and since then the following things have happened. All on the Hwy. First I hit a half a tire tread off a semi. It was laying flat on the ground but the car in front of me hit it first. He stood the damn thing up and I hit it. That knocked the pan under the front bumper half off. I fixed that. Then about a month later the car in front of me got a piece of allum. siding caught up under his back wheel. Before I could slow down or change lanes it flew off and hit my front airdam leaving a small scratch. Last week I got lucky when a chunk of ice flew off the roof of a semi trailer. It hit on the side pillar between the drivers window and the small Quarter window. No damage that time. If it had hit on a top surface I'm sure it would have left a dent or scratch. Then this week the rock. When I don't drive the Shelby I drive my 96' Jeep Cherokee that has 254,000 miles on it. Nothing has ever hit the Jeep.
