Wow, that's very interesting. You would have to rent a whole container ship to haul all of that stuff back to the mainland. Randall
I love the questions... one guy asks if he can buy some drip rail moulding. The better one, though, is the guy asking if he can buy just the red and blue "fastbacks" that are shown in one picture (the Shelby's), as if he's going to pull a fast one and buy two '68 Shelby's for the price of two decrepit fastbacks. The blue '68 is a curiosity... Shelby hood and upper scoops, but regular Mustang headlight buckets. I bet there's some great stuff in there... and a whole lot of crap. The red '68's quarter panel seams are completely rotted through. Too bad they sat out in that tropical environment. I'd bet rust would be a problem on a lot of the cars in the storage facility as well.
No problem. Dynacorn makes a '68 fastback body shell. Just swap over the vin tags and you have a "new" '68 Shelby.
What an amazing lot. Somebody died and is probably rolling in their grave, b/c they couldn't take all their stuff with them!
That is just incredible that someone would accumulate that many cars. Imagine how much time must have been spent just keeping track of them all! Where's Ron Pratte to buy the lot???
37 Mustangs On One Ebay Auction? Has anyone seen this EBAY auction? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/THE-...211388491QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item150211388491 The guy has 37 Mustangs in one auction. Some are Shelbys. You can be the lucky winner with Buy Now for $995,000 At the bottom of the auction page the seller posted a question from another EBAY member. The question asks: Q: how much for one of the shelby projects? i only need the vin numbers and shelby tags along with shelby parts the body is not needed on a big project? thanks HMMM I wonder what that guy needs VIN and Shelby Tags for? Sounds suspicious to me Also, I guess we now know where 68 Shelby #3858 is....ouchieeee Jim
