Does anyone know that Shelby made 2 1965 GT350 station wagons? My Mustang crazy neighbor told me about them. One was stolen and never recovered. The other one is white with blue stripes and i did find a pic of it on line. Kinda wonder about the IQ of the the person that stole the other one,,,,,,what is he gonna do with it?

Sorry, Ford never built a Mustang wagon which means Shelby never built a GT350 wagon.

Remember the difference between a fairy tale and an old car story?
A fairy tale starts, "Once upon a time..." An old car story starts, "Once upon a time, no s**t" :D

Are you sure he's not talking about the Flacon sedan delivery wagon's that they had? I thought one had a hi-po 289, but not sure, wasnt one on display in Colorado?

The Falcon delivery in the Shelby American Collection is Peter Brock's old car.

This story comes up from time to time. A few wagons where made by home builders, even back then.

They actually built two. One was stolen and never recovered.

Mustang wagons were 'built', but not by Ford. The one on Car and Driver in October '66 was built by Intermeccanica of Italy. It was a reconstruction, moving the rear of the hardtop back to the rear and installing a longer roof section and swing-out side windows. Thus if Ford did not build a wagon, Shelby did not convert any to GT350's.

I do recall seeing one that some one built in the early 80's . Early Shelby colors [white with blue stripes]and the shelby cragars wheels that was in mustang monthly. Also seen a "mustang ranchero" that someone exhausted a lot of time to make:doh:.

At least one of the wagons is suppose to still be around. About 5-7 years ago I had a discussion with a shop that was possibly getting it as a restoration project. Would be nice to see it and what condition it is today.

Over the years I must have seen a dozen home and shop built ones - think at least one was done up as a Shelby but the vast majority were the typical red - like the pickup truck ones
