Now that car has a wild history!!!

crashed, spliced, repaired, retitled as CSX2457, converted to automatic, repainted black, T-boned with heavy damage, repaired, repainted red, rebuilt, destroyed in a fire, titled back to CSX2501, and finally, reconstructed into Daytona coupe by McClusky in 1998.

Sounds to me like there's very little left of CSX2501 other than the serial number.

Hi Daytona Coupe fans! In 98 this car display during the Willow Springs event in October, and drew quite a crowd the whole time it was there.I was able to get some photographs and talk to Mike about it.He has done several and they are very exact.Look close and realize this was done around 10 years ago,and still looks fresh.-one quote I remember is Quality remains long after price is forgotten. He has the most Cobra experience, and it shows in this car. Most people give up or dont even bother, when a car is so hurt. This is proof that with talented people there is a way to save anything.I think 4 of his cars were done on original roadster chassis. They are all in the new registry if you need to read more.Enjoy!!
    Regards P.D.
