The override and under ride traction bars used on the 65 and 66 Shelbys
    was made by Traction Master.

Traction Master Company made the underrides for the 66's after about #800
but also made them for 67 Mustangs/Shelbys. However, they are different as
the article number isn't the same. I believe the length is the difference. Dealers could have installed Traction Masters on any 67 Shelby as they were
listed in the Ford Performance catalog. I bought my 67 in 1977 and it came with Traction Masters mounted. Works very well and I have no intention
to have them removed but as stated above, they didn't come from the factory.

    ElJimb0,
I think you are wrong on the 65 and carry over 66 overrides.
My 65 Shelby parts catalog page 66 dated 4-16-65 specifies
S1MS-18127-A Arm Kit-Traction LH and RH to be manufactured by
Traction Master. Retail Price $59.15 and Dealer Price $42.00.

Fellows, Be careful of what you are discussing. Two different parts are being interchanged in this discussion. 1967 Shelbys received "rebound dampers" at the factory and NO traction bars. See the 1967 Shelby specification sheet. It
also goes on to mention Dealer Installed "traction bars.
All '65 Shelbys and the first 252 ( carryover ) cars received "overriders".
'66 Shelbys initially received overriders, then "underriders for the rest of '66
production. Both types of traction bars were provided by the Traction Master Company. The Dealer installed traction bars were also sourced from Traction Master. This is not to say other companys did not make traction bars, but to state that Traction Master Company was the official vendor of traction bars
    to Shelby American.

The original Rebound Damper is fine if you are going concours or just want to be OEM. the pieces from Branda appear to be longer making for quicker contact and constructed of Polyurethane for improved durability.
