1969 Shelby Indy Car - secret testing

    In 1969 I was hired by one of the Indy Car teams (I was an acquaintance of Clint Brawner's) to shoot photos at a secret tire testing session at PIR in Phoenix.

    I've wondered for years what happened to the Shelby Indy Car. For the time it was very advanced, and as I recall, it set some very respectable lap times at PIR.
