Are the 1985 Dodge Charger Shelbys like the Mustang Twos of the Shelbyworld? I fell in love with the old Cobras during visits to the Sebring 12-hour races in the 1960s. (Thanks Dad and Big Brother for letting me tag along!) Would love to hear from those of you interested in the '85 Dodge Chargers that bear the "Shelby touch". I see there are a few of you out there. This is my first time in the Shelby Forum. It looks pretty darn cool and of course the cars can be habit forming, like anything that moves fast!
I don't believe they are shunned by the Shelby world. They are more likely to be shunned by the hemi musclecar crowd. I had heard lots of "That's not a real Charger" comments before Dodge built the current 4-door model. Now a lot of that negative vibe has gone away. robin
