If you let it go long enough it will be harder to get into the higher gears. Sounds like they are going to perform the TSB. Let them do it. From what I have heard from the guys that have had the TSB done that it shifts smoother than ever.
Thanks for the reply will do. I guess I was just worried maybe it was my transmission too!! but when its cold it shifts fine in 1st and 2nd so it's definitely a problem with the flywheel disc TSB. I met Nick and Mike when I went in and had the tires/alignment done and Nick is like all clean like a service manager and Mike wears uniforms like a mechanic. And I think Mike checked on the service bulletin after I talked to him yesterday because he was familiar with the problem so the are going to perform the TSB. I appreciate all you answers and help. Without you guys I would have let it go because I baby my car I would not have noticed until it was to late. And it would have cost me a lot of money to fix it myself.
I have been reading through forum threads about the 07 GT500 flywheel/clutch TSB. And what I gathered people have been arguing over which clutch is the best. The original, the spec upgrade, the 2010 clutch or an aftermarket clutch. And what it seemed to be the best and free is to have Ford do the TSB with the 2010 clutch and my understanding is they are in fact using this as the new TSB replacement part if you go in now and get the TSB done. Is this correct they are using the 2010 setup when you have the TSB done? Thanks, Dan.
