First post on this forum. Yayaya now that is out of the way.. I like most have had the stripe problem. My local dealer replaced. Now they area going bad once again. Dealer now will not replace. I spoke with another owner who told me about a Hood Pin issue. Since the hood is aluminum and the hood pins are screwed in by metal its causing an electrolysis issue. In essence the paint is bubbling. I did notice last week not next to the pins but at the very edge of the hood what looked to be rust bubbles under the paint and continued under the hood. I have yet to speak to my local dealer about this but I believe I'm still under warranty. Just wondering if anyone else has had this issue. I tried to search but didn't find any similar topics. Thanks
Ford has had issues with hood corrosion on the Mustangs for several years. The aluminum hood was not one of their better ideas! It should be fixed under warranty as there are service bulletins from Ford detailing this problem.
