Just got it this weekend. Stock with a few enhancements, Bassani exhaust, FR short throw shifter.

Best part is my wife was 110% behind the purchase. I know there will be payback on this one.

Anyways, been lurking on these forums for a while as I narrowed down my search - now looking forward to passing along anything I learn along the way.

Gonna try to get the car outside this week while it is still light out to take some pics, then get the pics off the camera and onto photo bucket or something. Things have been crazy since the purchase with some other issues. Regarding Randy, I hope it turns out to be one of those trades that works out for both teams, except on Halloween. ;)

Welcome and congrats on the new to both of you beast. Have you found the false bottom in the cup holder yet? You can get a certificate with your build dates and numbers and a window sticker. 18003673788 Ford Performance. Good luck and never turn the traction control OFF in wet weather.

Thanks for the advice. I've heard a lot of people say that Traction Control is your friend. First day backing it into my garage...I have a concrete lip on the apron and the concrete is settled, so the lip is kind of a Mick Jagger lip...anyway, I was backing it in and the front tires were at the lip. I'm trying to ease the clutch so as not to end up in my family room. She wasn't moving, so I goosed the gas, and I did my first burnout in my garage. The car started shimmying sideways and I almost banged into the lolly column.

Going sideways in my garage, or anywhere else, is not on my list of things to do anymore.

Haven't found the false bottom yet. I put in for the certificate from Shelby American. I will put in for the one from Ford Performance this week.

    Thanks!
