Hi all- new to the forum, is there something that causes the engine to sputter and puke when the rpm's get over 6K? 2007 shelby gt thanks
Most likely not. Keeps you from over reving the engine. Warrenty would be void if changed. Computer controls all that stuff. You could ask the dealer what bolt ons would be allowed under the warrenty. A smaller pulley and better air box is worth around 100 horse I've been told. Can't say it is true or not.
Thanks, I guess I'm just used to higher revving engines, 6 or 4 cyl. When I first got the car I thought it was really powerful, it is, but I guess I'm getting used to it, and it seems like it could use an extra punch. I'll live with it for a while, try to find a track where I can really see what it can do and go from there. Thanks again for your input.
