Hey ... Got some educational questions here. I pulled what I think is the original T10 tranny out of my 65 -350 to change the fly wheel and noticed some numbers. Does anyone know what they mean or used for? It is stamped on the main body driver side. I have you tell you guys/gals, this T 10 tranny is really light compared to the cast Iron toploaders that I have dealt with. When I pulled the tranny out, I took a chance and grabbed it before it fell to the floor off the jack. I was surprised that I caught it and it didnt rip my arms out - hahaha (not recommended). The tranny is freaking light and small. The other question is ," were these trannys specially made for the 65-350 Shelbys?" I did some research and could not find another car that used the aluminum T10 tranny. There is T10 M 1 casted into the body and T10 M7 in the aluminum tail housing. Very interesting Thanks jon
