Great pictures but as always you have to take all the captions with a grain of salt ;)

I purchased two copies at Books A Million for 5S055 and for my friend Charlie 5S323. I am sure other major newsstands have them also. Try Barnes & Noble. Not sure of major bookstores outside my area. I noticed one on ebay 9.95. I guess everyone needs to make a buck or four. The magazines are to be displayed until Jan 30.:guitar:

What is up with the head castings they show as race or R heads? Don't make any sense IMHO

Never noticed the photo close till you mentioned it. They are not 289 heads. Caption says photo never ran in Tex Smiths Car Craft story. I guess this photo got mixed up with Shelby Stuff. They are Chevy Heads. I guess GM will do anything to get into the action. The DG marked in crayon I take as Z28 302. Maybe! I quit fooling with that junk in the 70s. Thanks for pointing that out!:thumbdown

If you want one, looks like you need to call Hot Rod as the next issue (oh, all about Camaros) is out right now. I checked at Borders last night (Jan.10th)

I love that shot of the back lot at Tasca Ford showing all those 67's lined up. There are at least a dozen in the photo. Gee, not a one with LeMans stripes either.....

No thank you (no didn't get the pm) got the tube. You didn't need to do that.
BTW the poster/print...... I've taken a ride in at least two of those cars in years past. Friend in NZ owned them at the time and I sold a bunch of parts and cars to him back in the late 80's – early 90’s . Their family and mine have been friends for years (they visit here ... we visit there)

    Again thanks.
