You should contact Howard Pardee the 65/66 registrar at SAAC ( 65-66registrar@saac.com )and give him your information so if he has contact info for the current owner pass it on to the current owner so the current owner can contact you. For privacy reasons SAAC typically does not give the info out.
Whether or not you can get a hold of the current owner, do right down ALL the stories and foward them to the 66 registrar. They are a part of the car's history, and, you can likely read them whenever the next registry gets printed (maybe ten years). Plus, your name will be added to the list of known owners which is also in the registry.
