OK, here it is. A 1967 GT 350, white, blue stripes (no Le Mans stripes), auto, air, PS, PB, ten spokes (correct numbers for 67), NOS Goodyears, but only an AM radio. Less than 70,000 miles, Calif. black plate car (L.A.), bottom is still red oxide, white overspray and original paint drips. Absolutely no rust or accidents, ever. I did an xtensive cosmetic restoration on it about 5 years ago. Fiberglass and sheet metal removed, engine and trans removed, interior (except headliner), removed. Total repaint on white, base coat, clearcoat, sanded and buffed with very slight orange peal. The bow in the hood was removed but the tin foil on the bottom of the hood was preserved. Only the carpet and door panels were replaced on the interior, everything else original and excellent. The engine was disassembled and detailed. It has a service replacement block but all the original hi-po parts are still on it. Crank, cam, lifters, heads, distributor, intake, carb, dampner, valve covers are original. The Thermactor smog system is installed and WORKS. The owner just had me put a flowmaster exhaust system with cross over on the car, but the original pipes come with it (muffler has a hole in it). The front brakes are stainless steel and the rears are new. Original springs and shocks. This car is absolutely beautiful and if you got rid of those silly NOS tires it would drive great. It's tight as a tic and barks going into second gear almost every time. The disassembly is completely documented as is trail of ownership. This is one I thought would disappear into a collection and be lost to us forever. The owner is buying a Ford GT. He wants $85,000 for the car. Anybody interested? If you are serious, I will put you in touch with the owner's agent. If I had 85 large, you would not be reading this E-mail, the Shelby would be on the road with new radials and an AM/FM radio. SEE Y'ALL LEE
