Has anyone on the list had success pulling out a 4 speed shifter handle while the shifter boot is still screwed down to the tranny tunnel? I want to rebuild the shifter handle in my car, but I don't want to pull out the front of the carpet to access the shifter boot screws to remove it. I would guess that pulling it out from the top would work best as to not have deal with passing the reverse handle though the boot? Any suggestions? Thanks Kenny
