    I posted a wanted ad for a S7MS intake but in 68 did the intakes say cobra or shelby?

    I found this picture of a S&MS intake but im not sure if this is correct?

    Not correct for a 68 Restoration the ones that Ford used for the 68 Shelby said Cobra on the S7MS intake. The Shelby marked intake was what Shelby sold over the counter in his performance parts business. Shelby sold the Trademark Cobra to Ford in late 67 and couldn't use that trademark name on his intakes valve covers oil pans ,etc. back then. He apparently does have some kind of a use agreement with Ford with the Cobra trademark that has changed over the years.

    Bob,

    I was just curious and maybe you know, but what is up with the manifold that says SHELBY but has a wierd part number on it like SFJD or something like that, was that through shelby of ford?

    That one was through Shelby.
