I started going thru the parts on my next project. A 68 gt500kr fastback. I was looking thru the engine stuff and noticed something different. The hose that runs from the air cleaner to the valve cover breather cap had a clamp on the breather cap side. Has anyone else ever seen this. This is an orig hose with markings still on it.

I have not seen a clamp on an original one yet, but maybe some more will turn up?

Never see one in that location, not sure if it calls for one. The breather cap fitting should have a lip that the hose slips on to.

I have never seen a clamp on the breather hose , I believe a kr should have the square gold plated oil cap fitting. What style of clamp does your hose have on it?

I will be uploading some more pictures in the future, but this should hold you for now. Keep in mind this car is restored and is not perfect, but it's pretty damn close (97.4 % to be exact)

AHHH, The Coral Snake itself. Great picture. I take it the red mark coming off the distributor is correct as well?

Any pictures of what the markings on the carb should be? Pony Carbs replated my AB carb recently.

Hi Mike, a little tweaking and I will post some very detailed shots of the engine. I have to try to work on that 2.6 % before I start spreading it around.
