Hey guys, almost done with my Paxton & A/C conversion. I wanted my cake and eat it too!. I did not want to give up my A/C and I wanted a paxton. So...With a bunch of calls to both Craig at Paradise, and Curt at Classic Air, I got everything I needed to move the A/C to the passanger side and install a Paxton. I also wanted to keep my battary on the right side and use the same condensor and dryer. Now all I need to finish the project is a couple fittings from classic Air. I can reuse my orginal sight glass and line. I just need a 6' hose to go from the compressor to the top/low side of the condensor. I went with a rotary compressor because I like to rev the engine alot. Was told the old piston type did not like high rpms much...I will let you know the costs when i get my charge card bill!.. I had to custom make a few things, like move the uppper raditor hose inlet on the raditor 2.5 inches to the center to clear the A/C belt. Also drill out the alignment holds for the PS pump on the paxton bracket. I have not driven the car yet. Will give a update on the power increase, and if i can notice it!..hehehe... Will take some more pics when i finish the project.. I Took about 20 pics of the install, if anyone is interested... Cevon...
