Thanks JW We have several 69 4 speed cores, for anyone who can rebuild the units. I have been building the 65-68 for over 10 years. There has been poor interest in purchasing the correct 69 Shifters. I suspect with the increase in "Eleanor" cars, more cores will be available, as the typical buyers want the Hurst brand. Pete Geisler Orlando Mustang 407 688 1966
Weld your stock shifter handle to a Hurst Competition Plus and it'll shift better that it did new and look original. Why do you think Ford only used that design one year before converting to Hurst? > > From: <fordmond (AT) swbell (DOT) net> > Date: 2006/04/11 Tue PM 10:20:12 EDT > To: <shelbymustang (AT) carmemories (DOT) com> > Subject: 69 Shifter ? > > Can anybody tell where I could buy a spring & the shims to rebuild a 69 > Shifter? > Thanks JW > >
