help! i am about to rip out every last wire and put in a carb.i originally got the car with no idea as to what was wrong. after doing a little diagnostic work
    i determined 3 things.
    1. no fuel pressure
    2.no spark
    3. no injectors
after doing some digging i have discovered that if i disconnect the injector harnees the pump will run and generate about 40-45 psi. i also discovered a
broken wire o injector #1 and repaired that.what am i missing? also have replaced both computers with oem ones.any help will be appreciated. :grrr:

The fuel pump and the ignition coil both get power through the ASD(auto shutdown) circuit. There should be 12v to the + post on the coil when you turn the key on (measure between the + post on the coil and - post on the battery).

Disconnect the battery for a few minutes, crank the car over and then check for codes by cycling the key on three times. A code 11 would signal that the computer hasn't seen the engine turn over, a sign of a broken timing belt, stripped dist. gears or a bad hall effect sensor (most likely). www.minimopar.net is a great resource for troubleshooting.
