In trying to follow the byzantine trail left by Alan Lubinsky of A.C. Cars Ltd. I got lost. I seem to remember

    --announcement of factory in Malta
    --announcement of factory in Connecticutt
--Shelby announcing they would sell aluminum bodied CSX1000 cars in U.S.
    supplied by A.C.cars
--Lubinsky showing in Europe carbon fiber bodied AC Mk. V

Then there was an announcement in May 2006 that Shelby was suing Lubinsky.

Curious to know are there A.C. -made Cobras being sold in the U.S. now and does anyone know who the distributor is? I contact Unique Performance two days in a row but no one there has called back.

I think Lubinsky has a potential moneymaker in just owning the name AC.
He would be smarter to just license the name to replica Cobra makers rather than actually try to make anything.
Somehow his new venture is associated with the guy that design the McLaren F1. Gordon Murray, who has a pretty high engineering reputation .
