    Hello again group,

I am now looking at another modified Shelby ( yes, I did buy the other 67 GT500 race car, it is now on the road back to stock). This one is a 67 GT350, no motor or trans ( had non original motorsports motor stolen). Full blown track car with a gutted interior, major cage and suspension mods. Very nice body with all original fiberglass. No flares, No real vintage race history, but SCCA legal. What would you pay for a car like this? I'm thinking of puttting the aluminum stroker motor from the other car in this one. Again, how would you value a full track car like this?

    all the best,

PS attached is a pic of the 500...

That is a really nice car. I would find that car more desirable than a
perfectly restored museum piece. Everyone has different tastes. Which sort
of reminds me. Something I have wondered about lately, what ever became of
Al Taylor's old BP '67 GT350 SCCA race car? I think that was the last
GT350 to run at the SCCA runoffs if I am not mistaken. I know he sold it
sometime in the '80's or early 90's, and it supposedly had all of the
street equipment. I don't know the serical number, but I would think that
Stephen or Lee Mathias might know what evert became of it. I guess I hope
someone is vintage racing it these days, but I don't have any idea.
