I heard Automobile Aficionado has died. They were a bit snobby--lots of stories about eating crossiants in Monaco while attending the GP whilst driving the latest Lambo-whasis variation. I wonder if more of these magazines would be around if they did a Shelby barn find story or looked at Cobra history. American Driver is another one that looks like they lost their way, though they are doing stories on neat places to go as well. There's an interesting new Ford magazine called Legendary Ford taht comes out of Grants Pass OR. Oddly the editor has a pickup truck on the cover but I think it's good to cover cars that don't cost so much that can be fun to own. Makes me want to investigate the 289-powered Falcon Ranchero parked down the street. Speaking of magazines, what happened to Shelby American magazine? Was the last issue years ago?
