Another Ebay Password Scam / Beware / From Orlando Mustang

    Here's another twist in the old scam to get your money!

    The latest, is a note from look-a-like Ebay letter, which advises you, a
    Bidder has canceled his bid. It has an apparent Ebay Link to the Auction. OF
    COURSE, now it prompts for the
    Ebay Screen Name and PASSWORD.

    I have posted some of the verbiage, but NOT the Hyper Text Links. Be
    careful, keep a hand on your wallet!

  2. I have one method for getting to my account information for ebay and for
    paypal
    I go direct to ebay.com or paypal.com and then go to my account.
    I do not care if I think the email from them is real I still only got there
    one way and never ever follow an email link.

    it is the only way to be safe anymore
