Anybody know about William J. MacDonald's Shelby vs. Ferrari 10-part TV series?

Sometimes I get the word late. Now I found out almost a year later that on May 20,2010 William J. MacDonald, the screenwriter, was interviewed on the Adam Carolla show and, under upcoming projects, mentioned he and his brother are writing a 10-part mini-series about the Carroll Shelby / Enzo Ferrari rivalry. His latest TV project was a 10-part series called ROME which he pitched to HBO with John Milius, a Hollywood heavyweight. Anybody have any other details like stars, production start date, producers, etc.?
