My wife and I have a policy on this which has simplified our lives and opened up time on our busy schedules. It's the auctioneers right to charge a buyer's premium and it's the buyer's right to stay home and not participate. The fewer people bidding the lower the price. We are our own worst enemy. It's that simple. Just stay home.
