Can you bleed the front brakes w/out....

Hi it is much easier to bleed brakes with the front wheels off,which is how the shop manual step shows it.To bleed properly use a slow steady push on the pedal,and watch for air.When finished rinse any fluid with water.Dry with compressed air and check for leaks--before you drive the car.Do it carefully! it is also important to torque all lug nuts and check and re-torque after 500 miles,especially with alloy wheels.
