I only know of a Cobra race (which could have as many as 45 cars, unless I mistakingly got that figure from the Goodwood Revival Cobra race) at Laguna Seca Saturday (or is it Sunday?). Then I was told by a replica coupe owner there will be a coupe corral. But there must be some other collateral (sp?) event where there's Cobras & Shelbys gathering that weekend--if so, like to hear about it. Check out the info on the tour that ends up in downtown Carmel. Last year there was several 250GTOs in it when that was the honored marque at Pebble Beach so maybe this year there will be lots of Cobras. The event is called Carmel by the Sea. The organizer is douglasfreedman@msn.com

The best part is that it's free to go to and the route is announced in advance so if you want to take good pictures you can go stake out your favorite photo location (mine is Bixby bridge, about 30-40 miles down toward Big sur.
