Colour and Paint code

    I need the colour name and paint code for the shock braces on a 1969 ShelbyGT500 also any other items around the engine bay that would be painted the same colour.(I am in Australia) and its not easy to get the information you need here. Thanks

    The color of the braces and the hood latch support are commonly called "slop or batch" paint. It can vary from grey to and olive drab green depending on production dates. Most Mustang Catalog vendors sell a color that is very close. I would recommend some catalogs from Mustangs Unlimited and Tony Branda. You can use these as reference and they will ship overseas.


    You are just not talking to the right people. There are people in Australia that restore Mustangs and Shelbys. Your best source is the right here, so we are glad you wandered in. Hey everyone Australia has the internet now.
