   My understanding is that any of the new interior kits will not have the correct original type of "weave"...is the correct?

   Lansing, the one in Illinois

   If you change both the front seats, and the back, they'll match. I haven't noticed any different type of weave.
   
   However, I have an early car, so, there is no weave as that material was not used until mid December 1966 production.
