Correct 1967 Shelby gt350 steering wheel?

Hey guys, new to the forum and just want to say hi

I Was wondering if someone could shed some light on this 1967 Shelby wheel and horn button, and if it was the correct one for the '67 GT350.

Yes, this wheel looks absolutely identical to mine fitted to #2751 in every respect except that the horn button wires on mine are black.

In your pictures, I see that the black plastic tabs where each spoke joins with the wood appears to have be laquered. Same on mine. I always asumed that is was sloppy re-varnishing by a previous owner... maybe not!
