Beautif Car........ what is the Chrome thing on the Passenger side of the Car just in front of the Meatball? David.
The chrome thingy is a side light to illuminate the numbers for night time racing such as the 12 Hours of Sebring. The lights are on both sides of the car and they are actually trunk/liscence plate lights.

So.....this car went from a 289 Slab Side Car to a Flared Side Car with Oil Cooler Opening below the Grille. Why? Does it help or hurt the Value by doing this????????? Please educate me on this. David.
