Drilling holes in fiberglass hood

This forum has been super helpful to me in my restoration/cloning process. I'm now at the stage to drill and place my hood pins on a vacuum formed, full metal framed hood from Cobranda. If anyone has any suggestions on bit sizing, drilling process, top holes same as bottom, etc. I really appreciate the advice. Its for a 1965 in it's final stage of primer and headed for the spray booth next. Thanks
