    Hey guys,

Easy question. I have a 1966 restomod Shelby clone. I decided I was tired of not being able to see my dash guages so I purchsed the new white LED lights from a mustang supplier to replace the original bulbs. They work well. They produce a light blue hue against the dash gauges. My question is did Ford want the 1966 dash lights to be blue, green, or white in color against the gauges. I understand that the lights were covered with a blue cover within the gauges. But with the yellowing light of a standard bulb with a blue cover could produce a green hue. Hence my 66 radio light at night is a green hue.
Now I can purchase a green led light to produce a green hue............what should I go with to be close to period correct?

    Cheers,

    Steve

I would say use the White Bulbs.
